Today I made a couple new friends. I just happened to not bring my HDD today and was wandering around the library after English let out early. I noticed a picture on a girl's binder and asked her if she drew it to which she replied 'no.' Her name was Jessy. We started talking about anime and drawing and she really LOVES Slayers. I didn't get to watch it after Dee told me how good it was but Jessy was more than enthusiastic about me borrowing it. I'm going to lend her Tsubasa and xxxHOLiC tho it pains me to part them with a stranger but I figure since I'm borrowing something of hers why not. Then me and Josh started talking about anime turned live-action and how horrible Sailor Moon came out. Then I told him that DBZ turned out even worse when China bootlegged it. Then we talked about video games for about an hour. It was nice to talk to people that knew what I was talking about for once.

They aren't bad for non-otakus. I guess I have another quest to fulfill.

I can officially say for the first time in a long ass while that I am the owner of a complete set of Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon anime. I am very happy indeed. I shall be even happier when I get around to and finishing DBZ. If BSSM was a challenge, DBZ is sure to piss me the hell off.

However, I'm too lazy to go looking for good quality Sailor Moon graphics so this weekend I am most likely going to start designing an xxxHOLiC layout for my LJ. I still haven't gotten around to designing my MySpace layout so... we know what happens when I say I'm gonna get around to designing something =_= I changed my mind and I'm gonna make a MySpace layout using Kotori from X/1999 <3 I love CLAMP, CLAMP doesn't love me.

Here is something good for you. I love this song a lot. It's not too often you find an anime opening song that sucks you in. Although the last one for me was 'The Light Before We Land' from Gunslinger Girl, which I posted last whenever. It took me a while to find that song so I uploaded it a few months after I finished the series. I'm glad to say this is the happiest I've been in a couple weeks.. months.. trimester.. pft.

This class moves excrutiatingly SLOW. I know it's an intro class but maybe basic computer knowledge should be required. She has to explain how to get windows back, how to find, how to save, etc etc. I've been sitting here for 3 hours and all I did was paste a picture of a pool on a blue canvas.

If you have to explain how to save, it's a lost cause. I've designed entire layouts in quicker work. Ah, well.. such is so for the price of education. At least I'm learning a few pointers for Photoshop as well.

Last night, I enjoyed a hazy evening talking to Jenny and Cory instead of going to the Foundry or The Pulse like I started to. I broke up with Neo Friday anyway. Those people piss me off more now. *sigh*

I might not pass the piss test because I'm always smoked out <_<

In the mornings on my way to school I pass by the usual roadkill (i.e. opossums, squirrels, badgers, deer, etc), but this morning I drove past a dead owl. To tell the truth, I think that's the first time I saw an actual owl, if not it's the first time I saw one up close.

At least I didn't run into it, but I started to stop and move it. Owls are my favorite birds, but something told me to keep driving. Haha, it reminds me of the time mom hit a vulture on her evening commute to work and busted the grill of her car.

Roadkill is gross. Blood makes me queasy.

Okay, I'm so screwed. That among other things, let's get what's been going on out.

I spent my weekend doing.. erm.. hmm.. I didn't really do anything this weekend. I'm grateful that I didn't get all depressed and moody. I don't remember doing anything of the sort. I've been obsessing over this picture of Kalani I've been working on for the last week or so. I love it tons and I just put the shading on this morning and I would upload it but I didn't convert it to jpeg format.

I need to stop being a kid so much of my time but since it's just me and Dad, I don't have anything to be shameful about, then again I'm daddy's little girl.

Oh, Dad talked to Mom yesterday and she's trying to con him into getting more of her things, namely the dresser. She claims she doesn't have anywhere to put her clothes. Bah, fucked up parental issues.

I don't think I want to get married looking at all these people getting divorced and going thru hell trying to finalize and get rid of their former spouse. When I want to break up with a person, I want them to be gone as soon as possible and marriage complicates what I find convenient in that mode of thinking.

I got some cd's from Jenny while I was out of town. When I got back I saw those cd's and I was pissed and everytime I think about those fucked up, scratched up, God-awful disks, I get pissed. I forgot to bring one to scan it so I can go on a bitch rampage. Oh well, c'est la vie.

I miss my sisters and my brothers and no one else but Edd. Edd, I miss you :( I can't find the Sims Deluxe online anywhere :( Lub T_T

So, armed with lots of PS tutorials, I'll start my weekend tonight.. or tomorrow. Depends if I get blitzed out of my mind. But I have lots of inked artwork I've been meaning to color and now I'll be able to add all sorts of effects.

I got a notice that I was sucking up too much bandwidth at school. It's okay tho, the guy just told me I can still download stuff, just not so much at once. I'm good with that, hell I know what slow ass download speeds can do to a network and I got too ahead of myself -_-

But still, you never know when they'll improve firewalls and block certain programs and what not. Ah, that makes me sad.. being so close yet so far. On the flip side~

I'M GETTING MAGICAL GIRL AND SWORD FIGHTING ANIME! o.o God you gotta love that Maburaho and Utena. Oh, I'm also getting my very coveted 2 Stupid Dogs =3 Gosh I'm so giddy. After pining for it for so long after the show went into reruns T_T I'm going to have it all in a matter of months (I only go to school 2 days a week for about 5 hours a piece). But I can maybe go to LU and get more stuff. Hell, Shayla goes to LU, I should just use her comp. She gets so excited sometimes and is one of those "Don't download anything ON my computer" type people.

Ah, well. I'm going to visit me mum next month and I think they have DSL so I can download stuff all that week and never turn the computer off. My blood will turn into green sludge and my eyes will dry out. Still, I think I'd be blissfully on top of things by the summer...

THE SCHOOL OF NURSING FINALLY OPENED BACK UP IN FARMVILLE! LPN here I come! Now I won't have to make myself focus on school for so long. After a while, I get negligent, not to mention I am always plagued by senioritis before I successfully complete things even if my stuff is falling into line.

Dee said she'd help me with my book. I still have to color the pics tho. I'm thinking about letting Tasha do all the coloring so I'll let her borrow my tablet. Yea, I need Photoshop for her tho... >_

Everyone, send me a short description of what you want to look like in my upcoming webcom. Everyone is chibi and it's pretty basic so don't go out on a lot of detail. Colors are fine, but I don't have a scanner at the moment therefore I can't color but it'll be great for a future reference.

Everyone's name is 1 syllable words so if you don't like the one I give you, send me something else. Also, the style of clothes I have you wearing so far. I took it upon myself to put you in what I know of you so far.

People I have so far...
Jenny: Character name 'Ko' short for her nickname 'Jenko'
Style of clothes: Baggy pants and T-shirt. Usually basic grunge look, cute hair styles.
Style of hair: Shoulder length and straight, sometimes down or in a ponytail.

Smallies: Character name 'Di' short for 'Dinne' in her name
Style of Clothes: Usually skirts, mostly girly clothes in an innocent way.
Style of Hair: Long and tight waves, usually done cute but most of the time down some ways past her waist.

Kasumi: Character name 'Mi' short for the last syllable in her name.
Style of clothes: Simple printed shirts, basic girl stuff, sometimes a skirt. Wears round glasses.
Style of hair: Usually in bun, sometimes in odangos. Loosely wavy.
